Scholarship Fund

The Fund has been established to support the advancement of girls’ education, by providing scholarships, bursaries or prizes. Lauriston is focused on providing equity scholarships to allow entry for a student whose family would not be able to afford to send their daughter to Lauriston.

The Scholarships will be open to permanent residents of Australia and will be awarded on the basis of a scholarship test, resume, school reports, an interview and completion of a financial questionnaire.

Bequests: a gift for life

Lauriston exists today because of the many people who have supported the School and believed in what it stands for. As it has in the past, Lauriston continues to rely on philanthropic support, over and above tuition fees, to provide the kind of education the School believes is so important. One of the key ways in which individuals can assist Lauriston is through a bequest. Over the years, bequests have been received from past staff, former students, the parent community and supporters of Lauriston. In planning for the future and in making your Will, Lauriston asks you to consider the value of something easily taken for granted: the gift of an education.

In order to make sure your wisehs are respected, it is important that your intention to leave a bequest is clearly outlined in your current will. You can view some suggested wording by downloading our Bequest Wording document.

Individuals who note Lauriston as a beneficiary in their will receive automatic membership to the Elizabeth Kirkhope Circle of Giving.

Annual Giving

This program provides an opportunity for members of the Lauriston community (current parents, Foundation members, past students and staff, current staff and stakeholders) to make a gift to the School.
