Year 12 Lauriston student Felicity Smith has been offered a Part Scholarship in the Victorian Institute of Sport Hockey Program.

The VIS is committed to the pursuit of excellence in sport and life, and assists athletes with a range of services. This is a very exciting opportunity for Felicity – not only will she be training with other elite hockey players, but she will also take part in an integrated program that will support her in her educational and career goals.

Lauriston finished the 2005 hockey season with excellent results. Based on all year levels finishing first in their zone, Lauriston was the overall Number 1 Girls’ Sport Victoria Hockey School for 2005. The Intermediate Team won the Grand Final, to become the year's GSV Champions.
