A state-of-the-art facility, designed to further promote excellence in the delivery of education at Lauriston

The newly opened 7/8 Centre accommodates young adolescent learners in large, flexible spaces. Flexibility improves the delivery of education, enabling learning to occur in a variety of environments – both formal and informal.
The 7/8 Centre has eight classrooms; offices and meeting spaces for use by staff, parents and students; a common area for each year level; and display areas for student work. The common area is a space for students in each year level to make their own, giving them a sense of ownership and belonging.
The 7/8 Centre features an abundance of natural light, which, combined with bright, warm colours, makes the new facility a welcoming and friendly learning environment for teenage girls.
