Head of Rowing

Commencement Date:  Tuesday 14 April 2020 (or earlier by negotiation)

This role is part time with the responsibility for implementing and managing the rowing program at Lauriston Girls’ School, key tasks include:

  • Lead the Lauriston Rowing Program through the performance management of student athletes, coaches, teaching staff and support providers in preparation for benchmark events within RV and RA competitive calendars.
  • Advise the Principal and Director of Sport on future directions and policy development in the development of the co-curricular rowing program, events and activities.
  • Manage and be accountable for co-curricular rowing programs and policy including but not limited to Design, delivery and evaluation of rowing, strategies and training programs
  • Build and maintain sound networks and work collaboratively with staff throughout the school and with external sporting bodies
  • Collaborates with the Director of Sport and the Principal to develop long-term directions for the rowing program
