Lauriston Girls School
We have begun delivery of a comprehensive Masterplan developed to ensure we can meet the ever-changing teaching and learning needs of today’s girls and future generations.
Stage 1 of the Masterplan encompasses creating a dedicated Sports and Wellbeing Precinct, developing an exciting new sports facility (the Ullmer Sports and Wellbeing Centre), unifying our Junior School on the main campus, and creating an Early Learning Centre at Blairholme.
You can help build this exciting future and celebrate your family’s connection with Lauriston by making a tax-deductible gift in support of these vital facilities. There are three exciting ways you can be involved:
Celebrate the Irving sisters’ vision for girls’ education by making a special gift of $1 for each year of Lauriston’s history.
Your gift will help provide vital new sports facilities which will be used by every Lauriston student and by our community partners.
To thank you for your support, you will receive a special 120th anniversary certificate, your name will be included on the 2021 virtual 120th Donor Honour Board on the Lauriston website and published in the Lauriston Foundation Annual and Impact Reports.
You can choose to give $120, or an amount of your choosing.
Lauriston’s Moreton Bay fig has always been the symbolic heart of Lauriston.
In this milestone anniversary year, we are creating a 12m x 3m metal sculpture inspired by our fig tree. Each leaf on this sculpture will honour a Lauriston family.
You are invited to celebrate your connection with Lauriston by gifting a leaf to add to our 120 Tree. Only 300 leaves are available.
Metal leaves vary in size: bronze and silver are 15cm, gold and platinum are 20cm. Your leaf will be engraved with your family name.
View details of the leaf options here.
There are also four opportunities to fund a branch of the tree, which may be of interest to extended families or year level groups.
The 120 Tree will be mounted on the external wall of the new Sports, Health and Wellbeing Centre. Your gift will help fund this vital new facility.
In addition to your leaf on the tree, your name will be included on the 2021 virtual 120th Donor Honour Board on the Lauriston website, and published in the Lauriston Foundation Annual and Impact Reports.
Gold, Platinum and Branch supporters will also receive a unique key ring based on the 120 Tree leaf design. Supporters at this level are eligible for Foundation membership and their names will be displayed on the Foundation Honour Board in our Reception.
Gifts to this initiative can be pledged over two instalments. Please email email@example.com for further details.
The Ullmer Sports and Wellbeing Centre will become a hub for students, families, and the broader community as they gather to watch our girls compete.
Your gift in support of a seat is a special way for your family to be a part of the transformation of Lauriston’s sporting facilities and an opportunity to celebrate your family’s connection with the School.
Your gift will be acknowledged on an individually engraved plaque. Your name will be included on the 2021 virtual 120th Donor Honour Board on the Lauriston website, and published in the Lauriston Foundation Annual and Impact Reports.
There are three seating options available, including six individual seating ‘Boxes’.
Your gift of $500 will see your family name on a 120th Supporters’ Seat (106 available).
A gift of $750 will see your family name on 120th Courtside Seat (fully subscribed).
Gifts in support of ‘Boxes’ vary depending upon size. There are 6 Boxes of different sizes available, with capacity varying from 7 to 11 people. These may be of interest for family and other groups such as Houses, year levels or sports teams.
Members of our community who have supported this campaign as part of the 120 year celebration.
All gifts received over $2 are tax deductible and will be used to help deliver these vital sports and learning facilities. Your support today will have lasting impact for future generations of Lauriston girls.
