The Foundation is responsible for overseeing the funds contributed by donors and members and ensuring the funds are managed and distributed in accordance with the various deeds of Trust for each Fund and donor’s wishes. The Foundation also plays an important role in acknowledging and recognising those who give or donate funds to the benefit of the School.
The Foundation acts as trustee of four key Funds established to support the School:
- Education Fund
- Building Fund
- Library Fund
- Scholarship Fund
Our History
The Foundation was established in 1984 for charitable purposes, through the provision of financial support and related activities to help advance the School and assist the School Council to preserve, develop and improve the standard, facilities and wellbeing of the School.

Today
Today the Foundation plays an increasingly integral role in supporting Lauriston’s future as one of the leading schools both within Australia and internationally. The operation of the Foundation within the Advancement Office at Lauriston is funded by the school.
