The 2022 tuition fees, payment schedules and terms and conditions are contained in the fee schedule.

Other Expenses

Students must allow for additional living costs when considering living in Melbourne and studying at Lauriston. These costs include book and uniform costs, living expenses–including accommodation costs–and costs associated with other activities including school camps and other curriculum enrichment activities.

Camps & Other Curriculum Enrichment Programs

Year level camps are charged to the account holder. Optional camps/activities are advised in advance and charged separately.

Optional curriculum enrichment programs and fees are listed in detail in the Co-Curricular Handbook on our handbooks page.

Books

The booklist can be viewed online at www.jpbooks.com.au. Booklists for the upcoming year are made available from December 1.

Uniforms

All new students will need to make an appointment with the Uniform Shop before commencement. For more information, including opening times, visit the Lauriston Uniform Shop page.

Second-hand uniform items can also be purchased from the Lauriston Parents’ Association Second Hand Uniform Shop.

Computers

  • Students entering Prep–Year 4 will receive a loan device from the School

  • Students entering years 5–12 will need to purchase a notebook computer as recommended by Lauriston; computers can be purchased through the IT department

Students studying at Lauriston in these year levels will need to purchase a laptop as specified by the School. Information advising of computer specifications and purchase options is distributed to parents in Term 4 each year.

It is a requirement of enrolment that each student’s laptop is compatible with Lauriston’s specific software. Laptops brought from overseas are likely to be installed with different software to that required by Lauriston. If it is found that a student’s laptop is not compatible with Lauriston’s specific software a charge will be levied to have the required software installed by Lauriston’s IT Department.
