About Lauriston Kindergarten

Play and laughter feature strongly in our three-year-old and four-year-old Kindergarten programs, which are grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Your child will enjoy many and varied learning experiences from the creative arts (music, movement, drama, visual arts) as well as from our Indigenous and numeracy/literacy programs.

Primary School (Prep – Year 6)

Our Junior School continues our quest of developing a child’s natural curiosity about our world. A strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy continues from Prep to Year 6 through direct instruction and project-based learning. Students participate in a broad-based curriculum which includes Mandarin, Visual Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education and Sport. In addition, through our digital fabrication laboratory we teach our students the design thinking process, how to code and how to make objects they have designed.
