Emily Boyce, our SnowSports Captain has dominated the snowboard competition at every meet this year. After winning all the medals in the State Championships, Emily also won the Australian Interschools SnowSports gold for both the Snowboard and Snowboard Cross events. Emily’s talent is so apparent that she is also being groomed for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

As well as her snowboarding prowess, Emily is also a fabulous person and great mentor. She is generous with her time and has been a huge support for the SnowSports team, setting an example of excellence and kindness.

Emily joined forces with Lucy Roper and Charlotte Batten to win the Division 1 Snowboard team event and a silver medal in the Snowboard Cross.

The Mogul skiing team consisting of Isobel Honan, Lily Schwarz and Maddy Schiller also won Division 1 gold for its stunning performance. The youngest members of the team performed well and Lara Kelly in Year 2 earned gold for her Alpine performance as well as qualifying and competing in every discipline for the National Championships.

Many thanks to sports teacher, Lisa Howden who co-ordinates and manages the team and the parents for their tireless support.

Just like the snow, it’s been the best season for years .
