At Lauriston, we are proud of our strong and inclusive School community and offer many opportunities for our parents and families to participate in School events, meet new friends and stay connected. This year we have had had some wonderful professionals share their expertise and advice on managing during COVID-19, from wellbeing and mental health to study habits during Home Learning and healthy lifestyles.

On Thursday 3 September at 7.00pm we are delighted to have Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, one of Australia’s highest-profile adolescent and child psychologists, speak to our parents about managing the Coronacoaster.

Dr Carr-Gregg will share his advice and expertise on managing changed dynamics in family life during COVID-19, looking to the future and our community networks, motivating our children to learn, be active and maintain connections with friends, and identifying mental health issues within the family.

This special free parenting webinar is open to our Lauriston families, and also to those in the broader community who are interested in experiencing the many extra-curricular opportunities Lauriston has to offer.

Dr Michael Carr-Gregg has worked as an academic, researcher and political lobbyist. He is the author of 14 books and sits on the Board of the Australian Children's Television Foundation and the National Centre Against Bullying. He is also the resident parenting expert on Channel 7’s Sunrise, as well as a social commentator on the Morning Show with Neil Mitchell on Radio 3AW.
