Huntingtower Lunch
Friday 12th September from 12pm | Zinc at Federation Square
The Huntingtower Lunch is an annual highlight of the Lauriston community’s calendar. With over 400 current parents, past parents and alumnae in attendance in 2024, we look forward to welcoming the community again in 2025. More information to be announced soon.
This year, all funds raised at the Huntingtower Lunch will be supporting the Susan Just Appeal, supporting the Heart of Howqua — a transformative project to refurbish and renovate the kitchen and dining hall at Howqua, the beating heart of Lauriston’s campus.
This vital renovation will create a functional, welcoming space where students and staff can connect, reflect, nourish, and grow. For over 30 years, Howqua has thrived thanks to the generosity of the Lauriston community. In honour of Principal Susan Just’s 15 years of visionary leadership, this project celebrates the values she championed: courage, opportunity, and personal development — the very essence of the Howqua experience.
Now, we invite you to help bring its next chapter to life and help honour Susan Just’s remarkable legacy in a way that will benefit Lauriston girls for generations to come.
We seek to request your support in donations which we can use towards our online auction which is held in conjunction with the Huntingtower Lunch. Donations and prizes are showcased on the GalaBid platform, which attracted over 15,000 visits during last year’s event. With prizes ranging from special sporting and cultural experiences, dining vouchers, to holiday accommodation packages and homewares, the online auction generates significant interest and it is also promoted heavily in Lauriston’s various communication channels.
All businesses will be profiled via a scrolling screen during the lunch, and we work with donors on various ways we can help recognise your contribution. Please contact us if you wish to discuss further or complete the below donation form.
