Celebrating the past, building their future

In 2021 Lauriston celebrates 120 years of empowering young women through education.

The Irving sisters founded Lauriston with the vision of offering girls a well-rounded education which provided opportunities for academic achievement, sport, the arts, debating and public speaking, and outdoor education. This vision continues today.

As we celebrate 120 years of girls’ education, we also look to the future. We have begun delivery of a comprehensive Masterplan developed to ensure we can meet the ever-changing teaching and learning needs of today’s girls and future generations.

Stage 1 of the Masterplan encompasses creating a Sports, Health and Wellbeing Precinct, unifying our Junior School on the main campus, and creating an Early Learning Centre at Blairholme.

We invite you to help build this exciting future and celebrate your family’s connection with Lauriston by making a tax-deductible gift in support of these facilities.
