Out of School Care

Blairholme Early Learning Centre

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) programs offered for all Kindergarten children include Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Program. All OSHC programs are approved for Childcare Subsidy (CCS) payments for eligible families.

Before School Care operates from 7:30-8:45am at Blairholme ELC. Children are provided with breakfast if arriving prior to 8:00am.

After School Care operates between 3:00-6:00pm. These programs are located at the ELC for children in our 3-year-old Kindergarten programs, whilst our 4-year-old Kindergarten children join the Junior School Girls at the Huntingtower Rd campus each afternoon during school term time. 

The Holiday Program operates at Blairholme ELC between 7:30am-6:00pm during school holiday time, for children enrolled in our Kindergarten programs.

Junior School (Prep – Year 6)

Before School Care

The Before School Care program operates Monday to Friday, for Prep to Year 6 students from the Blairholme ELC, from 7:30 – 8:00 am. The students will be provided with breakfast.

After School Care 

The After School Care program operates Monday to Thursday, for Prep – Year 6 students in the Junior School Drama Room (the current OSHC space), from 3:10 – 6:00pm. The students are provided with afternoon tea. The 4 year old Kindergarten children join the Junior School students.

At pick-up time, if the children are not in the After School Care room, they may be in the playground. Otherwise, the educators could be collecting children from a co-curricular activity but will return shortly. 

To Book Before School Care or After School Care 

To book your child, please complete the online OSHC booking request form. Families are able to check availability in our programs at any time either by email (oshc@lauriston.vic.edu.au) or calling Blairholme on 9864 7621. Spaces are subject to availability at all times.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payments

Families are able to receive CCS payments when attending our After School Care program, if they are eligible to do so. Please contact our OSHC team if you have any questions about this process.
