Diana Robertson (Class of 1966) was a passionate advocate for the importance of history in a girl’s education. She left a bequest to Lauriston by way of a perpetual scholarship prize. This is awarded every year to the top History student in Year 10 (as chosen by the Principal). The prize is awarded from a portion of the income derived from the original corpus (capital invested) and is part of the Education Fund.Â

We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, the Boonwurrung and the Taungurung peoples of the Kulin Nation, whose sovereignty was never ceded, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of First Nations Peoples. We would also like to recognise their continuing connection to Country and culture.Â
We would like to acknowledge that our community is diverse; and Lauriston values an inclusive and accepting environment for all ages, genders, abilities, races, religions, sexualities and cultures.
